Come Hear the Sound of Music!

In partnership with Salzburg College, the Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs (ICISP) offers a semester in the beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria. Salzburg is situated in the northern foothills of the Alps. Famous as the birthplace of Mozart and host to the Salzburg Festival, the city has long been a cultural center for Europe.

Students have the opportunity to participate in several excursions including a 4-day trip to Bavaria (for semester students only), 4 days in Vienna and a variety of local field trips. Cultural events in Salzburg will include concerts, plays, and exhibitions. Optional trips to other locations in Eastern and Western Europe may be planned as well. With Austria being centrally located, there is easy access to many countries throughout Europe.
